According to the court documents, the 39-year-old man reportedly made several attempts to induce his pregnant wife to have an abortion, leaving her ill and their third baby born 10 weeks prematureIy. According to the court documents, the child now suffers from deveIopmental delays and receives therapy eight times per week. Prosecutors said that Mason’s attempts to drug his wife came in the midst of the husband cheating and having an affair with another woman.

Catherine also appeared during the sentencing, where she condemned the judge sentence: “I do not believe that 6 months is justice for attempting to kill your child seven separate times.’ According to the mother, she reportedly gave birth to their daughter 10 weeks premature, causing the newborn to spend months eating through a feeding tube and was left with learning and development difficulties. 

According to the court documents, the 39-year-old husband was filmed on one occasion putting the abortion-inducing drug into a glass of juice which he then encouraged his pregnant wife to drink. Catherine also told authorities that her husband made repeated attempts to secretly administer it to her. Six of those samples that she saved were tested in a lab and at least two were shown to contain msoprostoI.
