WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — An Iowa Park man is free on bond after he was arrested on fraudulent use or possession of identification charges.
According to the arrest warrant, Hunter Jones is accused of using a stolen driver’s license to purchase a vehicle fraudulently. In September 2023, officers were sent to an auto dealership on Kell Blvd. East.
The financial institution learned of the alleged fraud and notified Iowa Park Police and the dealership. The identity theft victim told police his wallet, driver’s license, and social security card were stolen and used without his consent.
A photo lineup was provided to the dealership salesperson. Jones was immediately identified as the suspect. He is free on a $20,000 bond.
