A mother is facing charges after her 9-month-old baby died of an overdose.
Ocala police say the baby died in October of last year, with fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other substances in the baby's system.
Officers say 33-year-old Kacy Kincaid was identified as the baby's mother and had fentanyl on her during initial interviews.
They say tests later showed that those drugs matched the ones found in the baby's system. Kincaid is facing drug trafficking and aggravated manslaughter charges
