A pregnant woman getting arrested is not unheard of, but Daisy Link was not a new inmate.

Records from Miami-Dade Corrections & Rehabilitation show Link was booked into the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center exactly 18 months before she had that conversation.
Anyone familiar with the birds and the bees knows something fishy was going on. Link's lawyer told WTVJ her client became pregnant by another inmate using an unconventional method.
Her mother told the station, Link said the father is a 23-year-old prisoner who passed semen inside a glove through an air conditioning vent in the jail wall three times. Unconventional to say the least, but is the method fertile or futile?
“Ludicrous and ridiculous,” according to Link’s mother. She’s calling for an internal affairs investigation.The other inmate has been moved to another facility.
Link, 28, is now three months pregnant.She's charged with second-degree murder, along with battery by a detainee on a visitor or another detainee.
